In 2017, I created a small, lo-fi experimental memory of a visit to Raša mines and SCC Lamparna in Labin, the Twin Peaks of Istria. I recorded a portion of the road trip returning from those industrial places, frayed but still majestic, from Rijeka to Gorski Kotar, while the rain was approaching. This is one of my many videos of nature and human traces in space, but I usually do not post them as separate pieces because I am focused on human experience, sexuality, mythology, archetypology, death-fetishes-taboos-carousel and landscapes of the psyche, or I inject fragments of nature, cityscapes and ruins into my short experimental movies with non-linear stories, as metaphors and signifiers of a certain atmosphere or emotion (suspense, dread, horror, shock, memory, foreboding, excitement, euphoria, passion, tenderness, or anything the viewer weaves in with their feedback input). However, I find it interesting to interpolate something different (i.e., usually hidden from public view as an intimate reminiscence) into my online corpus. (from my Vimeo page)
